Cofarco successfully performed due diligence work and financial modelling work for a global trader.

The advisory mandate consisted of a full due diligence of the underlying producing oil assets in a prepayment arrangement in West Africa.

 

Acting as an independent advisor under the terms of this mandate, Cofarco was responsible for:

  • Reviewing the provided data on the assets;
  • Preparing a financial model and undertaking corresponding sensitivity testing to determine the conditional debt capacity of the asset portfolio;
  • Advising on the key provisions of project contracts which were likely to be critical for the bankability of the project;
  • Preparing a comprehensive due diligence report synthesizing the results of the document review and the model testing.
